Accident / Incident reporting:

If you are involved in the accident:
  • Stay calm and stop. Don’t go anywhere. Never.
  • Stay calm anyway. Turn on your 4-way flashers.
  • Make sure everyone is safe on the roadway. Wear a safety vest.
  • Determine the location (address) and call 911 (if someone else has not done this already)
  • Set triangles: (divided highway – 3 triangles behind the scene within 150 meters; domestic road – 1 triangle 50 meters in from of the scene, 2 triangles behind the scene within 100 meters
  • Call the Office during office hours or send an email to safety if after hours and call after hours support team. Wait for the police officer (will arrive within 5-10 minutes)
  • Take pictures with your phone where all involved vehicles, damages, road signs, and markings are clearly visible. Do 50 pictures minimum! NEVER EVER clicks pictures of any victim may harmed in accident
  • Provide your driver`s license, truck, and trailer registrations with insurance to the police officer. Do not lie or alter any information to the officer.
  • FILL OUT THE ACCIDENT REPORT FORM thoroughly – you can request from safety during office hours or support team in afterhours. Scan it later to the office.
  • Make sure the police officer gave you an accident report slip, where all the participants mentioned and scan it to the office.
  • Ask the officer if you can leave the scene or not. Do a pre-trip inspection. If your truck is not road-worthy – ask the office for the towing arrangement.

REMEMBER: It is a criminal offense to leave the scene of the accident if you were involved, even it is not your fault!!!

If you are witnessed an accident

If you saw accident, stop at the safe distance from the traffic.

Wear a safety vest and see if anyone needs help

You may want to call 911 if you think it is needed to be done!

REMEMBER: Truck drivers are ALWAYS STOP if they see an accident. We are professionals and the police officers are often count on us as a reliable source of information.
